Luxury Living in Hadley Wood: Georgian-Style Homes with Countryside Views

We were appointed to develop high-value concept designs for four luxury Georgian-style homes in Hadley Wood, replacing a single dwelling on a sloping site backing onto the greenbelt. Each house offers 5,500 sqft of internal space, maximising development potential and long-term value.

To overcome the site's gradient and planning constraints, we embedded basement levels and underground parking into the landscape for two of the homes. This approach preserved the area's established roofline and allowed us to retain several protected trees, supporting a positive planning outcome.

The designs reflect local character through traditional Georgian proportions, while meeting modern buyer expectations with large, open-plan living areas, principal suites with walk-in wardrobes and en-suites, and options for lifts and home offices. Large-format glazing captures panoramic views of the countryside and links living areas to outdoor terraces.

The homes are designed to exceed current environmental standards, combining energy-efficient construction with long-term durability and low maintenance costs.
